Bubenreuther Colloquium referierte Dr. Albert Schmid, ehemaliger Präsident des Bundesamtes für Migration und Flüchtlinge, über das Thema „Migration und Integration als Herausforderung und Chance“. In seinen Ausführungen wies Schmid u.a. auf die Geschichte von Flucht und Vertreibung hin. Vor diesem Hintergrund diskutierte er die gesellschaftlichen Perspektiven, die Migration bieten könne. Gleichzeitig verwies er auf die erheblichen Anstrengungen, die für eine gelungene Integration erforderlich seien.
